A young British expat in Hong Kong faces first hand what happens when her new home is fighting for its identity.

Her friend Jessie, a local, has invited her to a protest, but when they go together, the aftermath is something she would have never expected.

With a strong script and an inspiring performance by Mimi Martin, the story itself is strong and keeps audiences on its toes.

The only issue for me arrises in the overuse of pauses. Between each line in the latter half of the play, there are 5+ seconds of silence between each line for dramatic effect, which became rather annoying.

A smart political thriller however worth a consideration.
