Couplet: Folk Marry Kill - Review

A quirky newly married queer couple from California tour the globe as the duo Couplet and are terrified of death!

The couple are lovely together and a few of the songs are really catchy and the ending song is a classically somber ending to a comedy show, which I am always a sucker for!

The only issues is a lot of the jokes between songs didn't land, the duo had trouble with improvisation with the audience, and a lot of the comedy was a bit tired. Additionally, they gave off theatre kids playing folk songs for friend vibes.

The couple is delightful, and the show has potential. If they had a professional writer spruce it up there's definitely something here.
