Serious Theatre For Serious People - Review
A new comedy by Fringe-darlings in the making, Charlotte Anne-Tilley, and Mabel Thomas finds every bit of energy the actors can to portray the multiple characters in this wild piece.
An (awful) student theatre filled to the brim with characters, each played by Anne-Tilley and Thomas, who switch out hats and accents to showcase each character's differences. This show is lightning fast, making for the fastest 50 minutes I have experienced at the Fringe. Anne-Tilley and Thomas showcase their ability to switch accents and characters at breakneck speed without a single break and truly make it feel like a large cast is hidden backstage.
A 50 minutes that will have you smiling ear to ear and not give you a second to doze off as you will be paying attention the entire time.
With smart surprises and use of the set, this show is a great addition to your schedule!
