Steve Jobs and his old pal Bill Gates are reimagined in Nerds, a musical loosely chronicling their rise to superstars.
Powerhouse vocals is not what is expected when first going in, but here we are with some of the best performances the Fringe has to offer.
With a Broadway-level showing from Dan Buckley as Gates, and a strong supporting cast, including a breakout from Curtis Patrick, this show has plenty to love.
The songs are Broadway quality, and the sets are simple but incredibly effective. Filled with laughs, character arcs, and variations in musical style, there is something for everyone to love.
The only issue arises in how public their stories are so any embellishments take away from the enjoyment of the story as it it sticks in the back of your mind.
However, absolutely worth a watch!
