Merrily (x3) is a story that struggles to prove it's reason to exist.
A young woman is turning 30. She celebrates with two friends and they become too drunk (except for one friend, who does not have a sip).
One of the men is a nihilist, or just Dutch not 100% sure.
Although they hate his deep negativity, both can't help but feeling unexpected feelings for him and an odd love triangle is formed. An exploration of love and god also ensue.
The performances are fun, and there are a few laughs, but at times lines can be incredibly cheesy to a cringey point and the show can take itself a little too seriously.
