Lovable does not even begin to describe the lead characters in the show 'How to Win Against History'. A tale of a prestigious gentlemen deciding to spend his family's fortune by putting on plays.

The costumes are exceptional, and the set is absolutely gorgeous. It really sucks you into this art-deco, Victorian style.

The songs are incredibly catchy and the voices are strong and the harmonies are good.

The story does fall short with its thesis of how to beat history. It doesn't really come together in the end. Additionally, it does feel a bit long and a song or two is not needed.

Overall, fun experience!
