I actually grew up in the Appalachian area in the USA, so 'Gooder than Gold' is a nice revisiting to that area as Tressa takes us through the story of returning to her hometown in Kentucky to take care of her dying father.

She presents the story through dynamic vocal variety, musical accompaniment, and a Law and Order motif using a projector.

The first half has a linear story, the second half contains the aftermath and reflection, the script is crafted carefully and brilliantly.

A strong twist in the middle that makes you stand up straight in your seat, and a potential tear inducing finale, 'Gooder than Gold' has an apt title!
