The Daughters Of Róisín - Review

One-person shows are brutal. It is absolutely one of the most challenging feats for any performer or person!

Daughters is a show that stars the writer, who tells the complex story of the poor of Ireland in the early 1900s.

The actress is playful and fun while easily switching to serious and dramatic. The show's pacing can switch on a dime to the point of confusion, but it also can be a strength at times.

With brilliant acapella singing throughout, it is a truly beautiful voice and with simple audience interaction, she tells a beautiful story that can be tough to follow at times and ultimately doesn't fully land as hard as it has the potential to.
