Tarot: Shuffle - Review

I had no idea what I was entering with this show.

I did very little to no research before going into this show, and I thought it was some sci-fi, magic-type show. When you walk in, they give you (fake) personality tests that support this theory.

To my surprise, it is a sketch comedy troupe!

The audience is paramount in choosing the next 2-3 sketches, which are performed using different cards on stage. This provides a level of audience interaction and shows that each show is completely different.

The sketches are cleverly written, each having a sharp turn, like the magic show I thought I was entering.

The performers also feel so comfortable with the audience and space that they can break character to make a meta joke, and it flows perfectly.

This is truly a smooth, hilarious, and brilliantly crafted show with one of the best endings I have seen at Fringe.

MUST SEE.
