ARCADE is another technologically advanced experience from the geniuses at DARKFIELD.

In their signature shipping container, they station you at an arcade cabinet fashioned with a single button, a coin slot, and a return slot for coins to appear.

You place your headphones on, are launched into complete darkness, and make choices in an audio story using the button and coin slot.

The show is 30 minutes and I had to say I really enjoyed the story. It keeps you on your toes as you are told you only have two lives and any move can get you killed in the post-apocalyptic story. I wanted it to last longer!

The issue for me arrises in if this needs to be a physical show. I imagine the darkness helps as you will pay 100% attention, but I wonder if having this on a computer would have the same effect.

Either way, I had a fun time, enjoyed the story and setting. I would suggest going to this and then The Dark Room for a well-rounded video game Fringe.
