If Andrew Doherty has been born a few decades earlier, I believe he would have penned 'Angels in America' himself, but since he was born in the 90's, we are blessed to have Sad Gay AIDS Play.
Doherty is coming off hot after his last show "Gay Witch Sex Cult", and aims to do a Real Housewives parody for his next show. However, the Arts Council of England won't allow it.
Someone needs to get Doherty in a Hollywood writer's room now, because the jokes he injects into this show are so fresh and modern, it shows his level of writing is respecting the old but showcasing what the new is all about.
Not only an incredibly strong script with lightning fast laughs per minute, but Doherty's facial expression to what the audience laughs at is masterful to make the audience feel they are witnessing some special, which they are.
The reason for the .5 off is I myself felt a small lull in the middle, but a lot of the audience was still loving it.
I am proud to share a surname with such a sharp performer and ready for The Real Housewives of Wife House spinoff immediately.
